We had the opportunity to visit an array of cafes, markets, a wine cellar, and restaurants where we experienced an array of Italian cuisine from a local perspective. Christy didn’t just show us the amazing food, but she explained a lot of the customs, practices, and history that accompanied them. Her knowledge of Florence didn’t just encompass food, however, she was able to answer all of our questions about Florence’s history and culture in general. Again, this was my favorite part of our trip so far. I don’t think I could say enough good things about this experience. If you have the opportunity, I would definitely recommend this tour, but especially our guide, she made the tour really unforgettable.
